Life has grown in nature. If it was naturally created, then it has evolved enormous number of forms, but the thinkable functionality of what those forms can achieve still remains limited from point of view of ambitious thinking outside of fictional settings forms of beings.
Although, mysterious forces such as consciousness (the self), have evolved / associated senses of sound and vision and so on / created various senses, over evolution for a being, but are mainly related to electric ionic activity. However, if nature has evolved humans, but sole force of consciousness is responsible making beings as they are. Conscious experi involves pleasure, pain, emotions, senses, and unknown ‘psychic’ forces that affect it, or forces arising from surroundings state affecting it. Consciousness has developed intelligence, that overall had shaped life, and keeps on shaping. However, current natural processes to engineer and make complex forms seems to have come to limitation, as only artificial forms seem to be capable of making change, e.g. carbon nanotubes, etc. for evolution of organism.
