Index note vertically dense chips need fluid cooling → flesh-like

What would happen if the semiconductor chips would be as dense vertically as they are horizontally, they would pack a tonne of computation (its about the feeling you get when you read it), but they would consume also much power, and probably heat up if not supercooled. This would require a need for heat transfer out of it, through say pipes running air or fluid through it, and that would seem like an biological organism, but only rigid. If the semiconductor is made of soft material, and incorporated (3D printed chip), then it may feel like some kind of flesh.
