Reality of societal advances
Index note credit belongs to the chain; "ownership is a made up thing"; (highest on blog)
Sometimes I feel a great sense of achievement, but then I realize all the credits of creation of what I used belong to someone else, and without them my delta-change in arragement of stuff wouldn’t have been possible.
Effort is very low when translating things, because thats what a physical manipulative beings (humans with hands) are capable of and do, but getting that existing configuration of structure : say atoms, or sand, rock, to complex things such as fruits, meat, cement, pure metal, has took a lot of effort from the start and have been recycled countless times. Given the humans’s time and energy, and intelligence, they can only do a limited number of actions or tasks. And to make everything from scratch (raw state whatever that is assumed) requires all the effort.
So without this laptop, I wouldn’t be typing this right now, and those who made me the laptop, to all the advances therein deserve the rest of the credit for all the things. So after any advances in technology, mass production and distribution of it is very important, because for all the reasons if one dreamed of seeing an advanced society, it wouldn’t be possible because normal single or very small group of humans will never have the capability to create complexity at the scale that is much larger than itself. A simple if-else program can never do complex tasks such as speech recognition unless linked in a massive graph. Some things are just impossible through many ways. We as existing beings cannot (still so far) create matter and forces from nothing, also practically myself not even transform the sand in my environment (due to legal regulations, lack of equipment, skill, etc). It is for the same reason, the things that will be possible 1000 years from now on do not exist today. But we can say 1000 years from now, the same mostly the usual life and earth that has been bewildering for past 1000 years and more will exist, and additionally new stuff (to 2025) (that means transformed stuff from existing matter) will be there.
Most (but not all) businesses run on that. They provide a service or equipment of stuff that needs to reach masses to allow that advances in society, to see people create new stuff and experience new better things.
It starts from the need, if a certain threshold is crossed in society, the need to have a company to distribute that product is created. When one creates a company, the need is satisfied and transactions for the service of providing matter transformed goods are made. Basically the transactions in future were required so the company could transact in the past, but in a causal sense. (simple thing written with overcomplications).
But to get an idea of what all people in society (i.e. all who will afford what is created)and what needs to be created remains an open thing. People try to create some thing, and see if it will survive in the market, and may also try to increase or make a market for it if it is less or not there. A market is a concept which relates buying and selling, traditionally is associated with physical space, but now more in cyber space, but need not necessarily limit to these. A non-market space can become a market if a need is created in one’s mind, and if other can supply.
But what are gifts, the goods or things given without any expectation of anything in exchange. Although gifts provide a sentimental and feeling of satisfaction which is a thing in itself. But then, what about the goods which are ‘given’ without any reward of any feeling, for e.g. raw stuff from nature which no-one came across, or planet mars which nobody really owns, not even all entire humankind, or the stuff of the deceased that no one has relation to. But we all are related in some way, and even to planet mars during the formation of our solar system, some of the dust formed mars, and some of it formed earth, and even the galaxy, and whats at core everything came existing from one thing
Well, at some point, humans have assumed and got on this bandwagon of “this belongs to me” kind of thing, to materialistic things and even to ideas.
Well in a certain time, all humans will recognize consciousness as universal thing, and may assume what they see is theirs.
But ownership is a made up thing. It does not really exist. If anything at all
