Separating passengers from cargo
Human life is critical, more than the daily goods that are transferred across highways. In future, the movement of goods needs to be separated from movement of people. Accidents involving movement of cheap goods, leading to disastrous loss of innocent lives need to resolved, once in for all. This demands separating passenger pathways of vehicle that move on the road to be different from pathways of goods. One might question about this approach, why separate, as roads serve the same purpose, and making both as single system efficient and safe as losses neither in either are acceptable.
But just as you arrange storehouse kitchen bedroom as separate rooms, such distinction must be made, because, cargo transport lines can be automated, and can moved at much faster speeds, regardless. The same can be also said about passengers though. But just like bicycle lane separation from car lanes, so its about mass of the vehicle. Although, a bus still is separate from a truck transporting stone etc.
Road safety is a major concern, and despite attempts to educate people, its not always the person’s fault. The fault arises in lack of maintenance and trajectory that the system will take.
So how to avoid these accidents, infant AI cannot help yet, and by the time I even realize to even work on it, the damage has already been done, and nothing can be done about whats gone.
