Surviving Mars Board game idea

Most weeks, for past 5 years, we have a board game community in which I play board games. They are quite different from experience from computer gaming, where in dense city one sits at home and plays with other people or the computer AI. but in this settings, the games are more interactive, also social but within the context of the games, and feel real and are imaginative.

Since I have got a 3d printer, I don’t know what to do, maybe I think of making a board game from computerized version of it. A more advanced form of it would probably be with rovers moving on their own with motor and AI, and very tiny drones carrying actual resources, in a mini miniature setting in boardgame, but for now its only 3d structures and usual gameplay inspired by surviving mars game.
